Dearest Carla,
I have never “planned” to call you since our first session. Since then it has always been an “impulse moment” which I believe, without any doubt, is inspired by God. It is as if He is saying, “Stop all this struggling and just call Carla. I will show her what you need so that you don’t derail yourself.” I make my appointment without any delay and…I have NEVER been disappointed!! In our last session, you clarified for me that I should not sabotage my relationship with a wonderful man, and helped me to understand and appreciate his views and actions. Without your help I would have called everything off and run like crazy in the opposite direction!!
I also understand my cousin’s path and look at our relationship in an entirely different light. This will allow me to go forward with her in a comfortable way which has been missing for too long.
Last but not least, I can end my friendship with a married couple. This has been coming for a long time, but now their agendas are clear. There is a way to do this firmly but without animosity – and now I can find that way. It is a good and healthy choice for all 3 of us which they will not understand in this lifetime, but that’s okay.
The way you share and teach, always with compassion and humor, is amazing.
