FREDERICK, Md. – In Frederick, Maryland, friends and family of Robyn Gardner are holding a special event tonight to mark the one year anniversary of the 35-year old’s disappearance in Aruba.They’re encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
Gardner’s travel companion, Gaithersburg resident Gary Giordano, reported her missing to Aruban authorities on August 2nd, 2011, saying she didn’t return to shore after snorkeling.
Giordano spent months in an Aruban jail but was released because prosecutors didn’t have enough evidence to continue holding him.
