Carla is amazing…I was looking for a place to live as I had been living with friends because my landlord wanted to sell his place. After being caught in the COVID work force reduction they were a lifesaver!
I looked for months, had to be out by May 1st. Was working with an agent and was getting nowhere with my credit rating after being virtually unemployed for two years. The agent and I looked at a place that would take me with a double deposit plus the first month’s rent. Carla told me that would not be a good place for various reasons.
Carla told me to look at social media to broaden my search. I did, found a room I was interested in. The day after I saw the place the owner went out of town returning May 1st. I phoned her, left a message. Was soooooo stressed. Carla told me to call again, and again, if need be… to not leave this to chance. She said, “THIS was the one.”
I could rent a condo that I didn’t really like or take the room. I heard back on the morning of the first. I was accepted as the roommate. What a relief! If Carla hadn’t told me to look on social media, I don’t know what my situation would be.
