I’m on a journey. It’s almost unbelievable how Carla knew I would leave my husband. Carla said “you will leave when you’ve had enough”. Well, I’ve had enough. Carla and I talked out a support plan and which friends would be the best choice to include in making a support system.
Carla guided me to the friends who are so kind to help me through this. I’m staying with friends who said I can stay as long as I like. They want me to take my time, save money and do what’s best for me.
While I’m still sorting things out, I wanted to see what apartments are available, but I was scared to call around to different apartments. It’s overwhelming. Carla helped me realize I’m in control and I tell them what I want. It was the second place I contacted today that has exactly what I want. I drove to the leasing office and introduced myself. They have a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom available on the 3rd floor, exactly what I wanted. I took home an application and am still gathering the necessary documents to submit with the application. Everything will be in the drop box before they open on Monday.
