Carla knew I was building a “database.” I thought – what an odd thing for someone to know about and I had to laugh. I’m building a database to shift into a different career path. I asked Carla what my career path may look like with forensics and healthcare.
Carla told me about submitting a paper to a publication. It might take just one paper because my article helps a clinical study that’s privately funded, and research related.
Carla said to include the journey I’ve been on while researching and developing my thesis, to include my human story. People want to read about my personal journey. Carla said this leads to more requests for additional papers.
I didn’t reveal to Carla I’ve already looked up multiple publications and submitted smaller teaser articles to Substack about my personal journey. Carla gave me confirmation I’m headed in the right direction. Thank you so much, Carla!
