The love bond with your pet is real – their energy is out there after they cross over!

It was amazing to speak with you yesterday.  I thank you for your time and empathy.

When my pet cat died I was heartbroken.  There was a gnawing question in my mind, “Where is he?”  So I scheduled a session with Carla hoping that her skills could find my deceased pet’s energy.  Oh my, what I hoped for manifested.  She asked me my pet’s name and the date of his death.  One the day we spoke, he had died five days earlier.  So, my grief feelings were fresh.  I took notes during our call.  I will use quotes as I type this, but it’s paraphrased.

At first Carla said that Max was assigned to me for a life lesson.  He wanted me to gain confidence and to love myself.  Oh, that stung a little, but I do see how it applies.  Then she said he is not in pain, and it’s like he’s young again.  He is now the version of himself when he was young and in his prime.  She told me he is still in the house.  Then she said he is not leaving for at least a year.  She said she sees him, and he’s young and playful.  She added that he’s up on his back legs and sort of like swatting at bugs in the air or something.  She asked if he did that, and I said, “Well if you were sitting at the kitchen table he would get up on his legs and put his front paws on your leg to get your attention.”  After our session I put together what it was that she saw.  It was the very young, kitten, playful version of himself.  He had wand toys, and he would really go after the dangling toy on the wand to the point of jumping up.  My advice to anyone contacting Carla about a deceased pet, focus on the young version of your fur baby.

Then she asked if I had something that I wanted her to specifically look for, or something I wanted to learn from the session.  I told her that I need to get something off my chest.  I said my mind goes back to the time he died.  He died in the vet’s office because there was no choice, he had to be euthanized.  I told her I keep remembering holding him, and his fur is soft, his body is warm but it’s lifeless.  I am staring at him, sobbing and just looking at how beautiful he is.  Then my mind kept asking, “Where is he?”  I told her this moment replays in my thoughts.  I didn’t say it to her, but she had already told me he’s in the house, in other words she addressed where he is.  However, Carla listened to my request and there was a pause, and she said, “Look upstairs.  That’s where he is.”  Then I said, “Well I don’t have an upstairs, it’s a single-story house.”  She said, “OK, let me try again.”  There was a pause, and she said, “Staircase.”  Such a random word.

Then it all dawned on me, and I lost it.  I was sobbing my heart out, and I said, “I know why you said ‘Staircase.'” Then Carla said, “Well tell me, why am I saying staircase?”  We both laughed.  I explained to her that as Max aged, he couldn’t jump on and off the bed anymore. So, my husband and I made a staircase for him to use to get on and off the bed.  The way the bed has a metal headboard, footboard plus metal side rails that stick out like two inches from mattress and box springs, makes it impossible to use prefab pet steps because you can’t get them to go directly up to the mattress.  I always referred to them as Max’s steps.  In reality it is a staircase, just that it is “cat sized.” (I told her I would email you a picture of the staircase.)

As the conversation was rolling Carla told me that you will see lights by the staircase.  It will be dark in the bedroom, and it will be like there is a firefly in the bedroom.  When I see the light, it’s him.  Then she said more or less, “What about a sibling for Max?”  I paused and was like, “I don’t know about that.”  Then she said she sees it coming.  She added it will be around August 2026.  She said, “You don’t go to a pet shelter or anything like that.  You will be outside and this kitten finds you.”  She also said that she sees the kitten is orange and called him a little pumpkin.  Carla told me that this kitten will have the ability to see Max.  Then she began talking about a toy.  She could see a gray squishy toy that Max liked,  There are a couple toys that meet the description.  She told me that Max will put that toy in the middle of the living room floor.  When I see a gray toy in the middle of the living room floor for no reason, it is a sign from Max that the new kitten is welcomed by him.

Then I asked Carla is Max is with my mother?  She asked what is your mother’s name?  Then she said out loud, “Is Max with (my mother’s name).”  There was a pause.  Then she said that he is with a recently deceased female relative.  I didn’t tell her when my mother died, it was sixteen months ago.  She described my mother and added, “quirky shoes” in the description.  My mom had foot problems and wore some gaudy shoes at times because they were the most comfortable.  I specifically asked if Max and I will ever meet again.  She said yes, but not anytime soon, because I have a lot of life left to live.

Carla randomly asked, “Did Max have a head trauma?”  I said, “Well yes and no.  He didn’t have an injury to his head, but he had a brain tumor, and that is why he died.”  I told her that he had a great veterinarian, was on steroids for swelling, and was a palliative care hospice patient.  She said she felt his head pain and that his legs don’t work.  That was how he was during the last few months.  He was so dizzy that he fell all time. I never thought of this, but Carla said, “His legs are weak.  His muscles atrophied.” The conversation was ending, of course I was crying, but Carla was so caring and empathetic.

Here is where this takes a whole new level of interesting.

I told my husband everything that I wrote above.  When I got to the part where Carla said, “Look upstairs,” he immediately put together that she was referring to Max’s steps.  When I got to the part where Carla said Max’s energy will look like a firefly in your bedroom my husband really reacted.  He told me a couple of nights ago, as we were going to bed, a light caught his attention.  He turned and thought I maybe got on my cell phone (I don’t get on my cell phone while in bed) but he saw that I was lying down.  He described a “glint of light,” and at the same time he heard a purr sound.  He dismissed it as his mind playing tricks on him.  I’ll put it this way, my husband is not the type to try to correlate things to fit a desire, belief or narrative.  He deals in numbers all the time.  He was pretty impressed with what Carla told me.  He really revisited his memory of the other night.  This experience talking with Carla has really helped the grief process.

I still hurt… however, my thoughts can now go to other places.
